Gilpin Bridge Inn

Our Manager and Chef have outstanding backgrounds in Michelin and Rosette restaurants and have compiled a range of menus guaranteed to please nearly every one. Using fresh local ingredients and a wealth of international experience we can cater for everyone for every occasion from Christenings to Funerals. We can tailor our experience to your needs.

Nestling in the gateway to the Lake District and on the edge of the National Park lies the Gilpin Bridge Inn. The Name of the Inn was acquired from Richard de Gylpin, a Norman Knight who lived here after fighting in the crusades. The Gilpin has a large car park with a children's play area and a seating area close by. The Inn has eleven comfortable rooms all ensuite.

The Gilpin is an ideal base to visit some of the many visitor attractions in the area. The Gilpin has a large function room ideal for business meetings, weddings and special occasions. There is a central bar, a large lounge and dining area with a separate games area. A good range of cask ales and wines are available to compliment the popular menu.
